Hello and welcome to another avd news of the week. The first one of april 2022. This one is extra long since I skipped a week. As usual I gathered the latest news from Microsoft and the community so let’s get started.

Why the NVads A10 v5 series lowers AVD costs even further

Dedicated Hosts with AVD: Easy as 1,2,3

Microsoft released the new version for the AVD client to all users. Like always there are several improvements made.

Domain join account for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Alex Durrant has written a blogpost on how to create an account that you can use during the deployment of the sessions host to handle the domain join. With this you have an account specificly for joining pc’s.


What is new in Azure Virtual Desktop for March 2022

Like ach month Microsoft has updated the doc’s page and listed all changes to AVD for March. Live Captions on Teams is one of the features that came out.


Nerdio Manager for Enterprise V4.0

Nerdio released the next version for NME and they have done it again. I would say go and upgrade your Nerdio installation and check it out.
