AVD Deep Insight workbook

Marcel Meurer updated his workbook for AVD. There is an option to show orphan disks and NIC’s. This is very interesting to save costs.

Announcing general availability of RDP Shortpath

Microsoft released the RDP shortpath feature in GA. The feature is enabled by default for all users. With this feature the users connect over UDP to the session hosts.

Announcing the Public Preview of AVD Insights at Scale

Ben Murphy announced the public preview of AVD Insights at scale. You can now view the Insights of all the host pools in your environment in 1 view.

Confidential Virtual Machine support for Azure Virtual Desktop now in Public Preview

Steve Dows from Microsoft announced the support for confidential virtual machines for AVD. This is an extra great step for AVD.

Azure Virtual Desktop Metadata Database is now available in India

Tom Hickling announced that the AVD Metedata database is nog also available in India. This is the next step to make AVD available world wide.
